Im really disappointed with my ZL1 performance

2013 ZL1 auto 4,700 miles on it. I took it out to run with My 13.17 sec LS1 SS M6 on the street. The ZL1 was in sport mode and that was it. My SS walked the dog on this car. Even with traction control on from a 30 roll this car should have left my SS in the dust. What is the best mode to have this car in for running on the street? to me it shouldn't matter.

Start with a Roto-Fab intake and VMAX throttle body. Best bang for buck mod. I have both for sale as I am parting the car out. Let me know if interested.

Your ZL1 should walk away from a stock LS1 SS.. ZL1 trap over 115mph and old SS trapped like 108mph
Id have dealer clear computer.

That is very strange. I had a 01 TA LS1 M6 and no way is it in the same area code, even with the ZL1 in Tour mode. Something aint right there.

Would clearing the computer actually do anything?

early LS3 were having low power problem where computer was stuck in limp mode. Guessing from dealers putting in 87 or car somewhere getting bad gas..
its worth a shot..

its worth a shot. Until you mod, play with the paddle shifters from a red light and have fun with it. Get a rotofab or CAI induction intake so you can gain a few horses and hear that supercharger whine. I have an auto as well

A 580 HP car should out run an ls1 with 369 RWHP. I shouldn't have to spend extra money to make this car out perform. Yes I get a ROTO FAB a pully, a tune will increase the performance but I want the stock performance I paid for first.

Have you done a fuse pull yet? Most dealers put low octane gas in their cars. I had a similar issue and my baseline dyno was at 419 and should have been around 470. I had ended up modding mine after numerous complaints to the dealer about the car being sluggish and slow but they all argued the car was fine. I decided to mod thinking they were right but they weren't. Car had bad gas and detonation putting it in the low octane table for safety.
