Angel/demon eyes

So, one of my headlights managed to get moisture in it, so i'm debating going to a local retrofit shop (Lightwerkz, some may have heard of them) to have them cracked open and resealed. However, I'm figuring "what the hell, let's get some RGB angel/demon eyes thrown in while theyre being resealed."

Currently, in terms of the angel eyes it looks like either Nightowl or Oracle are the way to go, Nightowl just being an LED replacement while Oracle is a full LED ring replacement. In terms of the demon eyes (smaller halos that fit directly around the projector), it seems that Oracle is the only maker for them.

Now, I don't want to publicly bash Oracle, but their mailslot scanner that I got doesn't work right, and I've read a lot around here about some of their stuff failing rather prematurely. My question is, can anyone vouch for these kits? Really don't want to have an LED die on a ring and then pay X amount of dollars to have the headlights cracked open (again). I'll probably be bench testing whatever parts i get extensively before bringing them to the shop to install, but figured I'd see if I could get some feedback/recommendations here beforehand

I have a 2014 so the halo's are different. I put in Oracle RGB's. At the start I had a problem with the Red LED. They sent another "under warranty" plus $10 shipping. Had them in for one year. Now a single red LED light is out on the passenger side. So my opinion is that their quality isn't the best.

That's what I was afraid of. Looks like i'll be staying away from Oracle for something that's going to be sealed away

For moisture in the headlight, two things: it is getting in somehow. This has to be plugged. The second thing is that to get the moisture out, you can just open the rear screw-off cap that sits right behind the headlight projectors, and then let them dry out and replace the cap. It may speed up things by turning on the headlights to heat things up in there while the cap is off. Just don't drive it that way. The NightOwl DRL Halos can be used as angel/demon eyes. They come with diffusers to closely match the look of the stock RS rings, and fit perfectly over the projector openings.

When I get my hands on some extra cash, I'll be contacting you guys for some goodies, for sure. For now, I'm probably going to have to open the cap and hope that they dry out, maybe use a heatgun to carefully aid the process (don't want to melt anything. Lenses aren't cracked, and the HID cap/turn signal bulb are fully fastened, so maybe there's a crack in the housing somewhere. either that or I just have some bad luck.
