Here's pics of the '69 Dash & Door emblems on my SIM.

I got the emblems from Ground-Up - links:

Door Emblems - 2 at $21.95 http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mv...ORPANELEMBLEMS

Dash emblem 1 at $24.95 (Note - the dash emblem isn't different from the door emblems so IMO its better to get 2 sets of Door Emblems if you want to follow my mod - http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mv...Code=DASHPANEL

As with the other '67-'69 emblems these come with posts which need to be sawed-off, nubs sanded down so they're smooth and 3M Automative tape applied. One layer of 3M tape trimmed to lay in the main body, this will allow you to place and move around to see where you want to install - then add a second layer and two strips cut for the curve of the "C" worked well for me.

Thanks - I had tried the door emblems further up as the '69 had them - didn't look good especially near the dash emblem (too crowded).

I really like where I placed the door emblems...

OMG I was taking a break from work and I was sitting in the Gazeebo, and three workers were looking at my car.... and I heard the craziest thing, which was true but crazy....the guy said...."Wow...the new Camaro looks good"....and granted I got an "SS".....and he said...."Do they make these in the SS?" I LMAO...."Because they used to have the SS emblem on the side....his co-worker yelled back "It is a SS, see the letters in the back... I died laffing

.... Thought I share.... so I might be putting the SS on the side lol

You know you got a good point there as well LOL ...... but i know I have to but a little "in memory of" decal on the lower corner of my back window for a good friend of the family we lost last year who owned a 1969 Z/28 he had since i was like 13 years old, who died from prostate cancer, and he tried hanging on to see the 5th Gen Camaro... I know he looks at from the skys above but I would of loved to have given him a ride in it.... that is one mod im am in the works of doing soon!
