Smile Look what I Received at the 2011 Camaro Nationals !

1st I just want say what a Honor it was to receive the " DAWSONS' PICK AWARD " FOR Best Camaro at the 2011 Camaro Nationals this year in Fredrick Md.

I would also like to thank Scott Settlemire for Introducing me to Dawson's Father
Mike Ellert through a email today . We weren't unable to get any pictures of Scott and I with my car after the Awards due to Scott having to as he put it .. high-tail it to the airport !

After the Awards concluded , I received many Congratulations from other Camaro Owners .The letter that Mike wrote to Scott touched many in the show that day and it was still on the faces as it was on mine as we talked ..
My heart goes out to Mike and his Family for there loss . I told him of a story that happened that night as we went out for a Saturday night Cruise . I hope the story put a Smile on his face as it did ours !

So as i close this out I again want to thank Scott and everyone with the Maryland Camaro Club at the Camaro Nationals for just a Great weekend !

I had a Great time . I can't lie , I would have loved to see everyone at the same place . I my only Negative comment would be there needed to be more vendors on site with products for everyone to buy !

talked to a vendor that packed up and came to carlisle. same feedback. he said all they accomplished was losing money for all. same day and all. they need to come back together. would be better for everyone. or at least have it on seperate dates. clearer heads need to prevail. having it on the same date is just crap. sounds like 4 yr olds are butting heads. they should have at least changed the dates to accomidate all the people who make the show what it is,,, the people that show and the spectators. they seemed to forget about them.. the PEOPLE are the show. hopefully. someone with comon sense will make smart decisions next yr. we will see.

I said the same exact thing ever since they announced they were going to be separate shows, the responses I got were..."It was the Camaro Nationals before it was the GM Nationals" and "the Camaro nationals were always the same date every year" Either get back together,or have separate dates!

I went to Carlisle and enjoyed it as I always have,I like seeing all the other GM vehicles (Chevelle's,Monte Carlo's,442's,etc) although Carlisle definitely suffered because of the other show.
