Speakers are 6.5" in the doors.
6x9 in the rear deck 3.5" in the center dash speaker (I'd just unplug it, rather than upgrade it) Higher wattage does not really mean better sound quality. To find this you need to compare the output wattage to the distortion/noise level (noise, in this case, is unwanted "bad" sound) ONLY pay attention to the RMS rating of subs and amps. RMS= continuous safe power output Peak= what they can handle for 1 beat (it is the redline) Who cares how fast your Camaro is at 9500 RPM's when it destroys the engine and transmission, right? Same thing with electronics. Amp classifications: see this thread http://www.audioholics.com/audio-amp...lifier-classes In general, stick with brand name audio equipment that has a solid reputation with audiophiles. Alpine- great amps and head units, very good subs and speakers Rockford Fosgate- Great subs, and amps, and speakers MB Quartz- great speakers and tweeters Boston Acoustics- great AFTERMARKET gear Sony- pretty good amps, pretty good subs, good speakers Pioneer- great speakers, subs, and amps, and good prices too JBL- great amps, very good and powerful speakers and subs There are really too many to list. Also, look into sound damping- Dynamat or a competitor. It helps to reduce/remove ambient raod noise, and resonation, resulting in clearer, cleaner, and louder SOUNDING music.

Here is another thing to consider-
When installing subs, usually they go in a box. How important are trunk space and aesthetics to you? A great solution is ********. they offer custom fit "stealth" boxes that take up hardly any room and really look sharp. ******** also offers the "FARK" and "T" kits the FARK is the Factory Amp Replacement Kit, it allows you to replace the factory BA amp with a better amp and you wont need to cut and splice your wires, just plug them in. Nice and easy, clean install. The "T" harness offers the same thing for aftermarket subs, no cutting and splicing, just a nice clean, easy install. Talk to Steve at ********, he will set you up nice.

Check out Crescendo, Hertz, or Focal speakers. Disregard JL, $400 for C3's and they do not sound like $400.
Sundown Audio is a great place to start for subs. The SA series is very popular and cheap. |

OK, first of all, WOW! That sounds awesome. Secondly, the Tahoe has a different configuration than the Camaro. Third, that is a serious setup, let's ease this guy in to the world of audio.
