The AAS is having an auto-x event October 2nd and 3rd at the Great America parking lot in Santa Clara.

I just drove my first event last week in Marina and had a blast. $40 for 5 laps in the morning and then $20 more gets you 5 more laps in the afternoon.

The events are safe for you car and you have the option of placing tape on the edges of your car if you are worried about scuff marks from the cones should you come across one. Your tires will get a bit scuffed, not that major.

I'm going to try and make it to the Saturday event with hopes of also doing Sunday if all goes well.

I should of just bumped this thread instead of making another; oh well; I'll be there, and bringin a few others with me. may be meeting them at Bikini Barista at 7:30 a.m. I'll know more by Fri. night.

I cant make this one, got our baby shower/party on Saturday. I def want to go to the next one though! Ive been practicing on the offramps! haha

Congrats on the baby, I will keep everyone posted. This is the last event for the year for the AAS. The other clubs may have some events, I will post info as I get it.
