I swapped out my SS for ZL1 driveline about 8 months ago. I am making close to 700 rwhp and have no problems, yet.

Nice this is a little more affordable option than a g force or Other 9" setups

I have been running the zl1 drivetrain on my car for almost a year. Manual with ~650RWHP. Install was easy with no modifications needed. Much cheaper than the other options out there... This is a very underrated mod IMHO.

Just ordered mine this week. Should be here mid week. Is there a DIY thread on this?

The only thing is the instructions sucked! It was missing a lot off torque specs and it said nothing about a different yoke which was included. You have to use a puller to get it of also. And you have to pull the spindles you can't just swing them out of the way. No modifications needed to fit the diff
Were the differential bushings SS quality or upgraded? I guess buying upgraded bushings would be no problem.

I need to contact DSS about a 1 piece driveshaft. Anybody checked into a one piece driveshaft?

No doubt they have a one piece driveshaft in them.

Diff bushings are much stiffer than the ss ones. I get some gear noise at low speeds. I would not touch them

Thanks for the info! I know where I can save a few bucks on an install. Toe links, quality cradle bushings, and new rear upper control arm bushings with the ZL1 setup and I'm good to go.....for now.

Then I gotta save for a one piece driveshaft and an aftermarket ZR1 upgraded clutch. By then, I have my cold air intake and ported TB. That should get me near 435 RWHP.

I'm guessing the yoke is for the transmission ?
