Rx breather

I've been browsing through the V8 section. I've read a few threads where people were saying not to use the oil fill breather as it would let unmetered air in, throwing fuel trims off. Is this the same case on the V6?

This has been a little controversial as of lately. I do not know if it is true or not but I took mine off and my car seems to be running better honestly. I don't know exactly how the check valve works some say is it only lets pressure out while others say it lets air in which could throw off the fuel trims but I honestly do not know which is true.

It will freely exhaust and meter air in. If you like the taste of oil, take yours and first blow, then suck (no crude joke meant) on the end of it. Not a lot of difference, but it is there. If you cannot suck air in or blow air out, the valve is not working.

I have no clue if mine does anything to help. Been running with it after running with the Vararam breather for some time. Did not notice any difference.
