Tire Information

Hi All,
I am looking for some information, I am changing over to the ZL1 style rims on my 2011 SS. I was looking for rubber and read some reviews on the Good Year Supercar G2 and the larger Pirelli tires. The reviews were not on the good side. I do not road race it, it may hit the drag strip once in a while, the majority of driving will be city and hwy. I do live just outside of Edmonton so we do get cold, but the car is not winter driven. I have read both tires suffer in wet and cold and that the G/Y actually cracks in the cold. Any help you can provide would be awesome.

For an all season tire, I went with Nitto Motivos. I only assume they come in the size you require

I'm running nitto nt555 drag radials 305/35/20 in the back and nitto invos 275 on the front. Tread appearance doesn't match but I don't care, they hook up great, not bad in the rain either I thought. And road noise a lot quiter then the pirellis too. Only have a few thousand on but so far pretty happy with them.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports or Hankook Ventus RS-3 if performance matters, I went from the G/Y's to the Michelin PSS's and am very impressed with them, actually better response then the GY's and will probably last a bit longer.

Let us know how they go.

I'm planning for the hankooks, but i'd like to get a review before I try

Will do, the rubber just arrived yesterday, may have some fitment issues though, they may be just a bit to wide in the front.

I have had them on for a few days now, we have not had any rain so no idea how they will work in the rain yet. As for dry, wow, car handles amazing they are super sticky almost to a fault, they pick up every little pebble. Very happy with the dry preformance.
