the "complexion" of the plastidip is different depending on the distance when spraying - spray with quicker hand speed close up (6") and you get a smoother surface that 12" to 15" which gives a more rough coating....

Just did my rims - first hit it with a few coats of black, then some Dupli-Color bronze wheel paint. I wanted a different color combo than anything else I've seen out there, and I think it looks fantastic. Being a roadcourse/endurance guy, anything with gold wheels and yellow headlights gives me a warm and fuzzy.
The car is really dirty in this shot, I'm going to wash it tonight an post some better shots of it in the Autos For Sale thread, where this car is listed for sale. I've got a few other plasti-dipped bits as well, I'll be highlighting those as well. |

Anyone dip the oem stripes?
I want to know if I want to remove the dip, will the stripes be affected

staying in a hotel for work, did this while i was waiting on a phone call. i like the look but might change up the dimensions/angle a bit...

debating on doing my spoiler to give a little more black to the back? ive got black tailight bezels laying in the trunk too, been in there since last year when i got the blackout strip for the trunk but never put them on...
thoughts? anymore pics of spoilers that were done? |
