HIDs or Angel Lights??
Hey Gents/Ladies,
I recently purchased a 1LT 2010 Black Camaro. Theres probably threads on this but I cant find it. Mines came obviously with the stock regular lights. Now which one would you guys prefer. Quality wise and not that pricey? Im thinking of getting that as my Christmas present. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks ! and Happy Holidays! |

Haha...Angel lights. You mean Halo's? The Halo's look sweet, but the HID's can be cheaper.

i mean..if u have 400$ to dump...get the Eagle eye headlights. i want to get me a pair of those! but i have HIDS in my headlights right now as you can see VVV and its not that bad. but just looks better with halos. or u can just put in a hid and slap in some AAC halos. and it would be somewhat close to it? haha
hids-150$? Halos-200? |

Everyone seems to talk about the way the different set-ups look on the front of the car, but surely the point of headlights is to be effective in illuminating the road ahead at night. To this end, I would go for the xenon HIDs, that give up to 3 times more light than a halogen comparison, as well as having a white "daylight beam".

And to the OP: Why not both? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100103 the vvme HID kit has everything you need, and is only about $40-50. OR if your budget is a little bigger, you could get the BFXenon HID kit for the Eagle Eyes, although I havent seen it installed. The eagle eyes are $400 a set so total cost, would be around $450 for Projector/Halo/HID... Just like the RS setup... but a little nicer looking imo.
