Front splitter fit??

Any of you 1LE owners having problems with the fitiment of your splitter on the sides right before the wheel well opening? Like not fiting flush against the bumper the last two/three inches or so. I installed mine and it was ok, then after about a week or so it has pulled away further. I've seen some pics of actual 1LE's on here and some seem to have the same issue. One person even said he "glued" his down. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue and what you've done about it? I really like this splitter that's why I put it on my '13 SS but I can't stand something not to fit right. It's held on by 32 rivets so ther is no "adjusting" that could be done. Install is fairly simple and mistake proof so I don't know what I could have done different?

Some dealerships aren't installing them right. I've seen some flushed and some aren't.

I got the first on at the dealership in early November. The side fit is horrible.

I installed mine myself. I'm pretty handy with cars and the install is fairly easy. However as you said some seem to fit flush and others don't, mine started out flush but has since pulled away???

It is a GM splitter, the same one stock on the 1LE.

Mine fits well and looks good, but the make ready "tech" left four fasteners off (that I've found missing so far...) Some dealer installs are better than others, but mine was fairly bad with respect for leaving necessary parts off.

Mine looks wrong. I haven't had time to get to the dealer on it. Maybe tomorrow.

When I took delivery I was already aware of dealer install issues, so I checked and mine was perfectly flush. This thread just made me run down to check, and my passenger side is starting to pull away, but that's also the side that rubs every time I go up or down my driveway :( guess ill just have to live with it for now

Yea, the install is not hard at all. I just think the tolerances are to close, so if you are off by just a hair it stresses certain areas. There are 32 rivits as I said so there is no readjusting that could be done. I may have to live with it. It sucks though. Part of the reason I got rid of my 2011 with GFX is because the fit of the GFX sucked so bad. I like everything to be neat and look like it's supposed to, not like I picked up a part from autozone and slapped it on there. SUCKS!!
