ISO: 80lb Fuel Injectors
My husband and I got a Novi 1500 from ECS about 2 years ago. It came with 60lb injectors. Well we now need 80 lbs injectors. I'm looking to see if anyone has any before paying outragous company prices.

I will give you some quick info........this comes after months of research of our vendors here and trying to weed through the propaganda on the net.
1. Most of the injectors at the size you are looking for are from Bosch to start with. 2. The bigger companies reflow them to meet the specs that get them to flow the numbers we want. 3. The two main companies that are the most reliable / easy to tune/ best on the market are 1: ID 2: FIC ID does a GREAT job at marketing and therefore you will find that they are about 2oo bucks higher than the FIC's. There is alot of markup in the ID's and therefore the vendors would rather sell you those. (any why not?) I ended up going with Fuel Injector Connection FIC http://www.fuelinjectorconnection.com/. Apples to apples, the ones i got were 300 bucks cheaper than the ID's and are working GREAT. There will be people that tell you that you get what you pay for, and they are right which is why I decided against the Fast injectors that are about half price of everything else. But if you can get the same thing, apples to apples for 300 bucks less, whre is the extra money going? They are hard to tune and irregular flow rates accross the board. I called FIC directly and ordered from them. Great people to work with. That being said, this is just my opinion and you can do what u want.......but this is what i found out while searching for mine. I hope i didnt anger any vendors.

We have used fast 89LBS injectors for years now and they work perfect
FAST/COMP is a well known name not a fly by night place. if you want a set of these injectors i can ship you some for WAY cheaper than the ones you mentioned. and they tune just fine |

I'm in the same boat as you and my tuner recommended FAST 85lb injectors. About $400 or less.

Ask Matt at FSP, he sometimes has some used ones from customers upgrading. Check with Ted Jannetty of JRE, he sometimes has a line on used ones too. Likely many of the good vendors can come up with some from customers upgrading if you can't find any in the for sale section. Never hurt to post a wanted ad.

That's the Matt. Great guy. He sold me a used Vortech V3 Si and sold me a new ECS kit to go with it. Then Ted Jannetty sold me injectors and headers and torque converter and SCT programmer and remote tuned it to perfection. Very good guys to work with!
