Halo Install- Non RS with switchbacks

Started my disassembly of my headlights, ready to install my multi-color halos from Diode Dynamics. They are super bright and look great. Headlights are opened. Feels great to actually put your own labor into your car and truly make it your own, Will update as the progression happens. more this weekend.

Wee decided since I was doing the headlights, might as well do the foglights too. Halos again from Diode Dynamics. Went to Phastek, local here and they helped to cut open the foglights for me, while I was there I picked up a sweet set of bulbs for the fogs. They are great to work with and will definatly support.

Good luck bud!

I've done a lot of DIY on my car have done all my mods myself (except exhaust), but I'm not sure if I'd tackle something like this or not! I'm sure you'll have no issues though.

Its really not that bad. I've probably done about a dozen now and its just the first time you have that fear. After that its easy

Well, 1 halo had a dead chip, diode dynamics sent sa new one which I received today, but it is a new style with more leds. So off comes the completed light and reopened to put updated rings in... now will have to finish next week... I did get all the wiring done and resistors mounted to the chassis to keep cool.

Well, had to do it, Went by Oracle in Houston and picked up some sweet new headlight bulbs, these are really easy to install and look great. Once I finish my other headlight, it will be done. So thanks to Diode Dynamics, Phastek and Oracle my front end will transform to a completely new lit up look.

Do the high/low beams function with the LED headlights? The material doesn't mention it. They look nicer than the old yellow halogens. I tried the Sylvania Silverstar and the difference is barely noticable.

Also, do the turn signals flash white-amber-white or does the white go out and just flash amber?

Looks great!

They just flash amber, no white in between flashes.. As far as the high/ low function, they are there but not a huge difference. there are some adjustments on the bulbs that can be done, I have not tried that yet.
