I'm not being a smartass/sarcastic.... I'm just making sure my original idea was correct or if I'm mistaken.

The point I was making is that both N2O and Meth lower intake air charges. The 5.0 is not just on boost. It also has Meth injection which in itself may not be a power adder but it allows much more psi to be ran with out detonation. The Meth is responsible for a good amount of HP.

meth is just a liquid intercooler. it is not a power adder. lingenfelter runs two a2a intercoolers and nitrous vs the mustang running one a2w and meth.

If you think the meth on the mustang makes as much power as the nitrous does on the lingenfelter car (400+ rwhp), than you might be smoking something funny. or i have a horrible grasp on meth on forced induction

that's why I said there are TWO ways. It was a generalized comment, IF YOU read carefully, I did not imply anywhere that either method was being used on the car. I was stating the different ways nitrous can be used, because two noobs, particularly one who has seen "the fast and furious" one too many times and refers to nitrous as "nos", don't grasp the concept of nitrous on forced induction applications.

considering you have never heard of spraying an intercooler with nitrous, refer to nitrous as nos, and are trying to "wow" me with a rail car, i have a hunch which one you are.... not going to point fingers though.

Do you read posts before you comment? When did I say it was a power adder? I actually said the opposite. All I said was that the meth is responsible for a considerable amount of HP on the stang. Take the meth off and you have to cut boost and lose horse power.

yes you do have a horrible grasp , you have no idea wtf methanol is and what the properties of it allow. and fyi it's not only used in forced induction applications.. Wow.

That's a built motor in that mustang that went high 8's. It's fast as he'll anyway you look at it.

If I get to go to the track Saturday, we'll go 8's.
