ZL1 Pricing?

With the CTS-V starting at $62,020 I don't believe there is any way the ZL-1 is anything short of 49K starting.

What say you?

They were specific in the chat that it would be competitive with the competitor and they were specific the competitor is the GT500.

^This.

I followed today's chat all the way through and there was a lot of great info given. They straight up stated the GT500 was their chief competition. One could deduce from that statement that the price of the ZL1 would be $50,000. This is a safe, sensible figure to work with, IMO. The suede option will obviously raise the price a bit.

We all knew all along that this car would be designed to battle (and beat) the GT500. The price will be in that ballpark, no doubt.

if they manage to keep this car at 45,000 it's gonna sell like hot cakes !!! they wouldn't be able to keep up with demand.

Competetive to the GT500 means something along the lines of $68,000 for those of us blessed to live in Canada.

Fortunately for us we can import them on our own. Should still be able to save $15,000 with the strong dollar.
