I paid them with a money order just so they can't recharge me against my will.

Cancel your card...have your card company send you a new one. They won't stop if you don't.

Interestingly, they were popping my GM card, but the GM card said they couldn't stop anyone individually from charging to it like OnStar at the moment, and the best course of action was cancel the account and have them send out a new card. PITA.

So true. My dealer even warned me. DO NOT give them your credit card.

Wow lucky for me, I had the 3 month trial and gave them my credit card even though "they wouldn't charge it" they didn't but at the end they said they were going to charge me for something random and ironically my visa got compromised during the trial so the number was no longer valid. So it was easy for me to argue paying their random end of trial fees.

I had the dealer remove me before I drove off. On my silverado either xm or onstar called me over the on-star phone to solicit me and killed my remaining minutes. I had those minutes incase i was out of a service area. Before that I had wrong numbers calling me and a female called me like she knew me and I told her she had the wrong number twice while the wifey sat next to me...very dangerous

On their website I found out that I couldn't remove my credit card unless I replaced it with a different payment method. I changed my payment method from my credit card to check. Then I put in a valid routing number for my bank but a fake account number. It took my credit card number off it and now it only shows that fake bank account number. I'm still in my 1year trial so I'm not worried about it but I will cancel it before the trial ends regardless. If they want to try to charge me after that they won't be able to

NEVER give them a credit card number. I keep cashing in on special offers for 6 months of free OnStar (Twice now ), I tell them every time I decline putting the CC # on my account.

I actually love the service, especially since it's been free

I told them to put me on the do not call list, and now I feel like they put me on a different list that's the "spam call list for a month till we can't call him anymore"
