For someone like you, that probably wasn't too hard. What did you do about the tune your ECU likely had? I guess I should have a backup plan for when I put my s/c on. Sorry for the off-topic Q's..

So if you did this to the V6 what gains would you estimate?
Can you do the turbo on a stock v6 or is there other parts that need to be switched out first? |

Question Turboed2000,
I notice that you have part of the fuel system bolted to the passenger side front bumper mount. Is this where it will be permanently? If so, you will not be putting the steel bumper back on the car? What will be supporting the whole bumper cover? Isn't it very dangerous to have all of those fuel system components in the front of the car? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure this out.

Thanks for all the Questions. On a stock V-6 I would say 200rwhp gain on 91 oct.
As for the fuel system the metal bumper is back in and the fuel pump is in a diffrent location. If I wreck the car I hope it burns to the ground. Just kidding this is a Real race quality fuel cell. There is no diffrence if you have it in the back. I do have a custom cell that goes in the trunk under the carpet. There is many ways to do things but this was the way I wanted my set up. This is a stock motor with cam and valve springs on E85. It has the stock Exhaust all the way out down to the mufflers minus the catt's. The only thing removed from the car was the washer fluid bottle and that is it. Evreything is in the factory location. |

Nice work. I can't wait to see a price... if you decide to market it. I might be interested. So many decisions...Turbo or SC. This one looks promising. Keep it up.

If you don't mind the extra cost and pluming, nothing is like Turbo. Free power, where is S/C draws power to make power. A good designed turbo, with good quality turbo unit can last over 100K miles.

I have always preferred turbo over SC. I'm saving now and waiting for the best turbo setup for the money to come out. Patience is the key.
