After looking at the ZL1 pictures, this car is made to take-on the GT500. This is no way a true track car. Very happy for all the ZL1 fans!!!

At first I was a bit disappointed in no power bump from LSA, however 3.73 gears appear to be standard. Improved braking and handling. Looks like the objective was not to go with more horsepower than the car could handle, instead they focused on putting all of that power to the ground. That took courage I think because plenty of folks (probably even me) were expecting 600hp out of this thing. With those improvements this thing should still eat the GT500 even with the extra poundage. Will be interesting to see more details in the coming days.

Did anybody notice it will have a cast-iron rear diff housing like the challenger as well as a 3.73 gear..the housing will limit flex that can break gears!!

Hey...shouldn't all you guys be working, instead of watching this website/announcement?

Personally, I thing the ZL1 name is just about perfect for this car!

Can't wait for all the pics!

The new steering wheel definately looks like an upgrade.

This is so cool. Chevy is kicking ass right now!

Anyone else notice they altered the Traction Control button to be a little more user friendly?

I hope the BA stereo is not carry over. That system needs a work over. Although, with dual mode exhaust and throw on some LT's, I probably won't even be turning on the radio.
