I'm not a fan. I like the motor but the engine bay could be presented better and I like the 6 piston brakes up front. Other than that I'd rather mod the car myself.

I like most of the new upgrades. I love the 11" wheels on the back and the 373 gears. The hoses coming out from under the beautiful engine cover have to go, especially the hoses on the left when you are facing the engine. The sterring wheel looks like you are driving a Buick. IMHO they did a great job except for these 2 things from what I can tell by the pictures.

Anyway, I think it's interesting that John Fitzpatrick sort of confirmed the Z/28 as well during the recent Q&A... |

I'm gonna call it now, Zl-1 up against the Ferd Gt500 and I bet there will be a Z-28 to combat the Boss...it just makes sense.

I can't see all the pics!
Very exciting but I'm doing my best to not get too excited cause there is no way in hell that the average Joe is going to be able to afford this beast. This car is gonna go for no less than 50 grand. SUCKS to not be rich !!!! |

For me the ZL1 missed the mark, I don't need a suede dash, I don't need magnetic ride, I don't need more fog lights, and to top it off the fairly plane jane LSA is the deal killer. I'll be contacting SLP now, I've been waiting for this day to make my decision and now it's made. Just compare these two dyno charts and look at the torque curve alone... Oh and that rear spoiler The ZL1 looks real refined but I'm the crude monster kind of car enthusiast. Last edited by CrimsonHowitzer; 02-09-2011 at 04:51 PM. Reason: Picture didn't work, sorry |

ZL1 vs GT500 Z28 vs BOSS 302 Couldn't agree more.... This should be interesting. GM keeps throwing a curve ball at us!
