In that case then this one goes out to all those who ever doubted the LS7's ability to be supercharged -_-' I still say it should be the engine in the Z/28...

Anyways, as mentioned before, i assume this is a custom project? Or will it be available to order?

Need I say more, well of course I do, check out this killer polished TVS 2300 that is being installed on the Johnny Cash project car here at MTI Racing. I don't know about you guys but we can't wait to get this monster breathing some fire. Stay tuned for more updates.

That being said, GM should put this in the Z/28, yeah its a crate engine but its got 18 less horsepower than the LS9 and has gotta weigh at least 100 pounds less since its not supercharged, plus it costs about half the price of the LS9, its even cheaper than the LS7
Yea, I like the idea of putting the 454ci in the Z/28. Then you could add a charger and have even more HP. The LS9 displacement only has 378ci w/ a dry sump and charger, basically a LS3. The ls7 427ci w/ a factory charger would be nice to see in a Z/28 too. Come on GM!!!!! Cubic inches builds horsepower.

Mucho take it easy.

Today, the engine and supercharger are in the car. I took some pictures, but it's 9pm and this is the first chance I had to log onto Camaro5.
When I get into the office, I'll post some more pics.

Stay tuned!!!

Johnny Cash Candy

It's like a kid at Christmas when you open the hood on the Johnny Cash Camaro. The engine is in and it looks awesome with the polished supercharger and cold air induction system. Check out the MTI Racing belt tensioner, this tensioner has 3 mounting points instead of the stock 2 which can flex under pressure and throw belts. You can also see the the front swaybar which will help to keep the BIG CUBE under control. Stay tuned all you power nuts, ignition soon.
