GFX Kit Question
So what is the difference between the V6 GFX vs. V8 GFX?
I have a V6 but i have the SS front fascia and I plan on purchasing the GFX Kit soon. So would I need to get the V8 GFX front splitter and the V6 GFX side skirts and rear diffuser? I'm not quite sure so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

My guess is that they'd be the same but that's a guess. You should try looking up part numbers and see what you can find for differences. Sorry I couldn't be of more help,

I think u'd need the V8 kit. only difference between the 2 is the front facia. The SS's is lower.

AFAIK it's the same for both. The side skirts and the lip spoiler for sure, the rear diffuser I'm not entirely sure. The annoying thing is the lip spoiler is meant to fit both bumpers, but the V8 one is about 1" wider, so on the V6 bumper it sticks out - but you won't have that problem

The only thing i think is different on both the kits is the front lip spoiler. The side skirts and rear diffuser are the same for both kits...

Thanks for the feedback every one. That's exactly what I was thinking that the only difference seems to be the front fascia

So if you have the SS front then you would obviously need to order the SS GFX.

I had to replace the front GFX on my SS. Here is a useful thread providing the latest SS Front GFX part number and a GM pdf explaining the installation.
