Camaro, the GT500 is pretty quick, but it handles like an ox cart.

Ofcourse it will beat the GT500 in every way.. The question to ask Fbodfather is will the top of the line Camaro Z28 beat out the GT500KR model which is faster than the GT500..

well lets see a gt500 has roughly 500. . .gt500kr has roughly 550 and from what I remember the GT500 weights close to 4300 lbs. . .if our car is anywhere close to 500 and has the same weight. . easily done.

forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't the GT500KR considered a supercar and thus not in the same segment as GT500 or the Camaro?

+1 I don't think comparing the two is objective. Isn't the KR like $75K? If we can get close to 550 horse, I'd be super happy. I'm a little worried that it sounds like Ford is possible killing some of the BOSS program though; it makes me think that perhaps Camaro isn't far enough along in it's powertrain development that a speculated supercharged model will be axed before it makes it to us. I hope that's not the case because these gas prices aren't scaring me away.

If we do end up with the LSA and end up with a coupe thats lighter than the G8. I would believe that we can match or beat the CTS-V's 0-60 time of 3.9 and 1/4 time of 12.0

Will we have to wait for 1, 2 years? I really hope the testing cars may show that the Z28 will be available as soon as the SS.

+1 to 2KZ28 and Punk'. Are we and when are we getting this bad boy already?! I won't be able to afford one until probably 2011 but I'd still like to know what to look forward to
