Haiti Relief/Camaro Sketch Auction **** ONE WEEK ONLY***

Thanks to a very thoughtful and generous individual of our site, Mark, the picture below is being offered for bidding with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Effort.

Mark created this beautiful sketch which he showed me in person at the Philadelphia/Camaro Event. It is signed by Scott Settlemire and John Fitzpatrick. And thanks to Mike (another great member here) and Marks efforts, the surrounding matt is signed by the individuals at the factory.

The size of the picture is 20"X24"

The thread will be "open" for bidding to begin Tuesday morning at 9AM. The auction will continue for one week, with bidding closing on March 16th at 8PM.

The rules are as follows;

1. A certified personal check or money order will be the only acceptable form of payment, which will include the winning bid amount as well as the cost of shipping, to be determined once winning bidder is notified.

2. The winning bidder will be announced on the evening of Tuesday, March 16th after 8PM. He/she will be contacted via PM in order to make arrangements for payment and shipping of the picture.

3. In order to help the process move quickly and smoothly, I will act as intermediate between the winner bidder and Mark (creator of picture). It has been discussed between myself and the other moderators that payment be sent to me, via certified check or money order, made out the the American Red Cross. Once I receive the payment, I will contact BOTH the winning bidder and Mark, via PM to validate payment is received, payment to the American Red Cross has occured (in the name of the winning bidder), and that the picture can be sent.

This thread will be "opened" for bidding to begin on Tuesday, March 9, at 9AM.

Any questions can be directed to me via PM.

Good luck to everyone!

And a BIG "THANK YOU" to Mark. Mark's generosity is why being a part of the "Camaro Fraternity" is so special.

Ed

A few questions.
1. Can we get one or two closeups of the sigs and car.
2. Is posting in the thread the proper way to bid, or would you prefer a PM?

Hope this doesnt come across as picky...

Thanks!

I will check with the person who created the pic. and get back to you asap.
As for cash, a certified check or money order made out to The American Red Cross is the preferred method of payment. This way there is a "paper trail" to show you your donation was made properly.

1. I'll ask the person wo did the pic. to see if closer images are possible.
2. You'll want to place your bidding in this thread.

If you're the winning bidder we can work out the details when we "cross that bridge".

The person who is responsible for this generous act is located in Maryland, just across the Delaware border.

I'll only speak for myself, but seeing the sketch in person, and then having the signatures attached to such a wonderful piece of artwork...it's worth every penny.

Sketch Materials/Size

Hi,

Is the 20"x24" the framed piece in total or for the sketch? What is the sketch done with? Looks like a great piece for a good cause!

Thanks!!
