Beware of AAC STYLE CONCEPT SIDEMARKERS AND LED REVERSE LIGHTS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would warn you that despite having had my LED Sidemarkers replaced once before, I paid shipping and a reduced price to get a cracked sidemarker replaced because of a mistake with the original shipping, they have broken again from nothing more than being installed to the car.

The clips which AAC Style will point out are not warrantied, which I will definitely give them kudos for repairing them despite the fact last time, have broken and despite me adding extra silicone caulking have leaked.

I just want to make people aware before they spend nearly five hundred dollars, $110 of which for me was shipping, to be aware that the product will likely break.

As for the LED Reverse Lights, one side was always off coloured compared to the other and has now decided to stop working.

My Camaro has sat in the garage since almost July so they stopped working at some point when the Camaro was in storage.

I have no desire to fight to get these fixed again and I will likely just return all my LED item's to stock to prevent the headache that I have dealt with from wasting my money on these products.

That's sad !! Cause I'm still debating as to whether or not to get the side markers "ghost" from them. But the stories continue.

Anyone can refer anothe company to purchase good side markers from?

Try Pete with showstopper. Here's the link...my post is #240. No problems so far, but mine are not ghosted. I think Pete ghosts them also but am not sure. Send him a PM.

I have AAC gobo lights, led strips, rgb scanner bar, led sidemarkers, plasma fogs, halo fogs and led reverse lights no issues

My tabs broke, I double-sided taped them in place. Maybe try that. Good luck, hope you get some sort of resolution.

I have the Interior/Exterior, Sidemarkers, Fogs and Afterburners from AAC and have no issues at all...

I also have color shift halo's, RGB scanner, color shift fog lights, sidemarkers and other lights from AAC with no issues.

A simple phone call will get issues resolved. Don't rely on a PM. Stop being lazy and pick up the phone and talk with them directly. Crying about would of, could of, should of isn't doing you any good.

They lost me as a customer when they mixed up my radiator support with someone's else's. I use to have the gm performance badge, now I don't... When I was at camarofest, that's what I get for leaving my car unattended. I was second in line, but yet 8 people got their cars done before thy even stated on mine...

I'm very understanding, But first come first serve is how I feel...
