11" is probably too wide for a 295

The 1LE has only 285 on the rear 11" wheel, it is stretched but it fits and performs well. The 295 would actually fit much better with less stretch. tirerack also recommends a 10"-11" wheel for the PSS 295s.

I guess my only question now is are 295s worth the $400 premium compared to the 285s?

After major abuse from tracking my car it is time to replace the front tires. I'm already running the PSS in the rear but I need to make the switch for the fronts. Discount lists three different PSS tires all in the same 295x35x20 size.

295 /35 R20 101Y SL BSW - $388
295 /35 R20 105Y XL BSW OE - $388
295 /35 R20 105Y XL BSW - $362

What's the difference and which one is correct??

In terms of load capacity, all three are good for essentially the same rated load at any inflation pressure up to 36 psi (the load vs inflation table limit for SL tires). If you need to be running above 36 to meet the same load rating as with your OE tires at their OE inflation pressure, you should probably be considering only the 105 XL tires. If you post your car's OE sizes including the Load Index and whether they're SL or XL, I can determine what the 101 SL and 105 XL tires would need to be inflated to in order to match the load.

The main dimensional differences seems to be in tread width (the 105Y XL K1 Ferrari tire having the widest tread), but since these tires are specifically Ferrari or Porsche spec tires I'm not sure if there are any differences in how tread width is defined.

These are the OE tires LINK

Off the top of my head OE tire inflation is 36 or 38, pretty sure it's 36. But I usually run the fronts a little lower than that.

Y- is the speed rating (Y=300 km/h)
BSW-Black Side Wall
SL-standard load range
XL-extra load range (handle’s heavier load and pressures)
OE- original equipment

Does anybody have this tire set up with the Apex 1.25 lowering springs on a ZL1? If so any rubbing?

I am running these tires with eibach springs. The eibachs are a milder drop (.5,.25"). No rubbing.

I know what you mean about the GY. They will never be on my car again. So far the lowest temp i've come across with the Michelins was yesterday 35 degrees. No problem..
