none of this has much reflection on the cars. they are modded aftermarket cars so if anyone has a problem, contact that company. this thread has become ridiculous.

But they are all comparable turn-key vehicles too. So it is a level playing field. It reflects upon the modability of these cars as well. The Camaro had the largest performance gain out of the three with similar amounts of money spent on each.

I would say the Camaro had the better performance gains with what they brought to the test. I would still like to see what the dodge could have done with at the same power levels, and what the SSS what have done with the proper shoes.

In the end though the HPE did make the best showing, and their combo proved to win out.

Hennessey Camaro HPE650 vs SpeedFactory Challenger SRT8 vs Shelby GT500 S

Camaro regained the Bragging Rights!

(quarter mile)
SpeedFactory Challenger SRT8 = 12.5 seconds at 115 mph.

Shelby Super Snake = 12 seconds flat at 120.1 mph

Hennessey Camaro HPE650 = 11.9 seconds at 121.3 mph.

check out the whole story;http:////www.motortrend.com/roadtest...son/index.html

Yep yep. And to make sure this thread doesn't repeat all the discussion of the other one, I'll provide a recap:

Hennessey won fair and square. The big decider was probably the tires - Hennessey used tires that can handle the power, but Shelby didn't.
