V6 rs autox?
Was curious if there was anyone else autox'ing their v6 rs? I have a 2014 that I've been running the last 3 months here in Arizona in fs, and the next event is this weekend. Wanted to get thoughts on tires and other adjustments for the car. Hoping to get some video this weekend, I'll have to be sure to post it

Back when I had my V6 I autocrossed it several times. Sway bars made a huge difference along with stiffer springs. The Pilot Super Sports are a great tire and wear pretty good.

V6 rs autox?
Did you do front or rear bar? I'm trying to stay in fs if I can, otherwise I'll probably bump up to stx or possibly cam. Springs would take me out of fs...

If you're staying in FS, go with a rear bar to get rid of some of the understeer.
Do the V6's fall into STX? I know the V8's fall into STU. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

Just noticed you are in AZ. Come to the match tour in St George, UT! We need attendees or it will be canceled!

Like Baylorcamaro said springs and sways made a big difference for me also. I eventually went to 19x9.5 to save weight over the 20's. Then I put koni's on. For tires I use the Bridgestone S04 pole position. There ok for the price.
Seat time was the best thing for me. After I learned my car, then I started mods. Since peedersusa is no longer here, JDP would be my go to guy. |

V6 rs autox?
Actually, I think you are right... Stu, not stx... I was always curious with the staggered wheels on the rs, how that plays with things and how the sway bars would act differently then the square camaros. I'll have to look into the st George tour! I know there have been az guys that have gone in years past, not sure if anyone from here is going this year or not...

A stiff rear bar is about the only way to overcome the staggered setup. Square is definitely optimal. You should talk to some other locals. If we don't get more people registered soon, we'll loose the event which will likely end up influencing them to no longer hold there. We barely got enough people last year. It was a ton of fun. So video! Weekend didn't go too good, lack of sleep caught up to me resulting in 2 dnfs and only one clean run... Oh well, there's always next month... That's the joy of living in az I guess!

Looks like we lost the match tour due to not enough interest. We'll still be doing a local event at the st George airport the 18-19. We'll be doing at least 10+ runs per day. Come on out if you can make it. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

+1 for nrr8865. He is the fastest V6 Camaro I have seen in AutoX. He got 1st in last years CamaroX and thats cause he was in class with the stock V8s. I AutoX with him monthly and he has it figured out V6 wise.... |
