Want to Paint my Calipers

Wasn't sure where to post this. I did a search, didn't find much.

I want to paint my calipers blue just for a small custom touch. Has anyone done this? I know I have to take the wheels off, take the calipers off, then paint them. Is there anything I should know? Is this easy, is it difficult? Thank you for any help.

There's a great write up in the DIY section - DIY: 1LE-look Red Painted Brake Calipers.

I second this, I followed this post to the tee and my calipers came out perfect. I am sure you can do the same with blue paint.

Couple things......you dont have to take the calipers off. I scuffed, taped ans painted mine. 3yrs and still looks new. You can pay big money on the kits.....or get high temp paint and save a bundle. I used rustoleum high temp rattle can. Just food for thought.

My G2 kit was $40 bucks and it looks great plus no messy over spray anywhere. All you need is good prep work. Caliper removal isn't required.
