Na, just someone bored in marketing with time to kill or that same type of genius in 1985 who thought New Coke was a good idea.

Sorry I forgot the 17" z rated tires that came standard on the SS and put the governer at 165mph. Autos got the 3.23 rear gear with the SS, however that was an option on the Z28. All LS1's with t56 trans got 3.42 gears. Stock Z28 wheels were 16" and the speed was governed at 125 I think. Straight line from 0-60 it's not that much of a difference.

They should bring a retro version of the 2nd or 3rd Gen or just discontinue the camaro and bring back the Chevelle.

The z28s even had crank Windows right up to 2002 they were truly stock strippers

Automatic transmissions with automatic windows sounds like a options to me

What!? To quote Moto-Mojo "This is heresy", discontinue the Camaro? Turn in your Camaro5 membership card sir! In a sense Chevrolet still has the Chevelle it just called the Malibu now, but seriously a retro Chevelle would be pretty interesting if done right. But then there`s the problem of which gen. Chevelle would it be? Me, I always liked the 65`s body style.

Lol.... Well I said discontinue the Camaro before they make something real ugly and call it a camaro . It's already getting there too me . And just look at my pics that I posted of what the Chevelle was expected to look like in retro form , which is the 70's my favorite.

Hell if they made that retro A body type Chevelle, it would sell like candy I betcha! Still think it needs a few tweaks here and there, namely more muscular curves like the original. That's why the 5th looks so good, the lines and curves. While they're at it, how about a modern X body Nova too.
