2010 vs 2011 Service Issues - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm planning on ordering a 2SS/RS here in the next month or so. I've been reading this website almost daily for the last 3 months, and have been paying particular attention to this section of the forum as I want to be informed when it comes to known issues with my new car purchase.

Anyhow, I want to know if the 2011 year model has significantly less problems than the 2010 year model. I know it's all subjective, but I'd be interested in knowing how far GM has come on pounding out all these issues in the manufacturing process to ensure the issues in the 2010 models aren't present in the 2011 models.

Let me know your thoughts.

You would certainly hope so...

I myself have had a number of quality issues with my 2010 2LT/RS. And the work performed on it from a piss-poor dealership has only made it worse.

I am looking to upgrade to a 2011 2SS/RS, hoping that most of these issues have been worked out since I ordered my 2LT 1.5 years ago.

I personally can't wait to get rid of my 2010 2SS, between the car's issues, dealer problems, and GM's lack of effort to fix the multitude problems that many of people are having, Im done with it. I truly loved this car for the first 3 months, but ever since has been a total nightmare!

I had so many problems i got rid of the car last year after only a year of ownership, mostly in the shop, while the bank still got my money. Not what I expected at all.
