LOL,
Yeah I suppose someone who was really concerned about that sort of thing, could cheat it if they ran down a hill, or spun the tires to 60 mph at a reasonable and believable amount of time. But like all those guys pointed out. You don't know what you are talking about if you dont drive an SRT8 product.
Also remember he isn't running an SRT8 either. Many drivers post 4.5 0-60 stock. 4.5 is actually pretty easy.
Maybe you should take a ride if you can find someone you know that actually owns one and see for yourself.

huh? I don't know how scientific facts change when you ride in a car...

I'm not saying they are not fast, just saying that it's easy to cheat the EVIC is all!

What scientific facts are you citing? I simply posted a picture. As you did in a another forum, you said it was wrong and easy to cheat. I simply am telling you that if you try hard enough and really want to cheat, yea thats true.
On the other hand SRT8 do regularly run 4.5 and better. Which is when i pointed out the guy you attacked in the other thread doesn't even drive an SRT8, like yourself. With that said, I think you should get a ride with a decent driver and see for yourself before you start calling BS.
The weight difference between my car (300CSRT8) and a Challenger SRT8 are almost identical.

The other guy drove a R/T, I know that. I said that a 4.2 with a stock R/T is not possible.

I definitely didn't attack him.

I never said that it's impossible to run that time, I'm just saying that you can easily cheat it by going down a hill or start it when you're already driving. I know that the SRT's definitely perform.

I've seen this play out at high speed against an SRT8 300C and a 4th gen M6 LS1 car... they were dead even until well into the triple digits.. Just food for though.

The 1/4 mile would come down to whoever hooks better...end of story.

The bigger and heavier a vehicle is the less you are going to feel the speed. It is a lot quicker than it feels because of this. 300C SRT8s have ran in the 12s bone stock......

I have owned an SRT-8 and they look big but are way faster than you think. It should be a drivers race plain and simple things may look this way or seem that way but go to a track and look at the numbers and you will see they run very similiar numbers. What hurts the SRT-8 at the track to me is the auto trans not the greatest. I loved my SRT-8 that thing was fast and had options to spare.

And the original post was wondering if he could beat some guys car that he doesn't know his mod list. How many SRT8's stay stock? Not many, atleast not for long. Most likely the guy is modded with atleast a tune. Could be trouble.

I own an srt8 charger and a 2ss,m6, love the ss but I can tell you for a fact that the charger can run 0 to 60 as quick if not quicker than the ss this being said the camaro is not broken yet.

Well, mine is broken in pretty good and my bud has a SRT-8 Charger also. We have raced several times and it hasn't been very close. We both know what we are doing and the SS just pulls much harder and I have the L99.

I'm pretty sure his is all stock. He's not the type to mod his car. At least that's the impression I have. I could be wrong.

Just curious, any track times from either of you yet? At the track or on the street the Camaro seems to hook easier, but SRT8 has a fairly high and consistent trap time ~109 MPH.
