Black Camaro Washing Routine

To all of you who went with a black camaro... how do you guys keep your car clean? The first time i washed it i ended up with swirls EVERYWHERE!

i think I'm going to get it wrapped in black just so i don't have to worry anymore

did you use the 2 bucket method with grit guards, a good wash mitt, and good microfiber towels?

Wash it with a mit and then clean it thoroughly with micro fiber towels. So far no swirl marks.

Use the two bucket method and good mitts to start off with. To dry, mostly I use the leaf blower and then wipe it down with Meguiar's detail and good micro fiber towels. That's in between waxing or polishing. Over 5 years old and looks as good as the day i picked it up if not better.

Two bucket method with grit guards, and Adams drying towel, I use one towel to soak up majority of water than take a fresh one to go over again with detail spray.almost no swirls in over a year

I am with you brother, but I do respect those that put a lot more into it. My car is a daily driver that will leave that service and become a track toy. As I learned from our '69 after it was freshly repainted in about 1990, enjoy it, its all down hill from here once the competition starts.

2 bucket system is the answer!

2.5 years of ownership and the car has always been washed this way. I have never had a single swirl mark or scratch. There is no secret, just use the system as it is intended and you will be good to go.
