I just had this installed and went out to test tonight being it was raining. Is the concept of this to keep the car in one place while doing the burnout? When I have this engaged my car is still moving forward at a pretty good speed.

Pump the brakes a couple of times, while holding the brake pedal down hard, press the button and hold. The front brakes should be locked until you release the button. Line lock is independent of the box.

You said it was raining. With the front tires having less traction due to the rain, that would explain it.

I think Merc had the right answer. I need to press the brakes hard and then engage the line lock. With or without rain, the result would have been the same tonight the way it was moving.

Pump them up hard before you hit the button and use 2nd or 3rd for the burn out. Sure you have bled them properly?

Brakes were bled properly. Everything is working the way it should. I am going to follow your advice and try again tomorrow.

Thanks

TC might not like the line lock burn out, thats why a lot of people pull fuses to disable it. That's another story though confirm it works and deal with that issue next.

Are you getting the "“Service StabiliTrak” dash light?

Haven't had it out yet......dealer cant get it to stop leaking. It threw codes in the shop and then I posted the reply above. The car has been there for 2 days now and the plug for your valve wont stop leaking. My buddy told me that his shop had the same problem until they Teflon taped it and used pipe thread paste. Is this a common problem? This install is costing me a fortune !!!!!

You need to pull a fuse and a mini relay while your at the track, problem solved. You will hear and audible warning when you first start in up but it will go away. By doing that you will totally turn off the ABS system.
