DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND.....

DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND YOU ARE JUST GOING TO BAKE YOUR HEADLIGHTS AND BREAK THEM OPEN!!!!!!!!! I have baked mine about 10 times now. I have about 3 holes in me, about 10 nice scrapes. AND THEY ARE STILL NOT OPEN!!!!!!! I have pried and carved around the edge with a knife and a screwdriver. Can anybody say DYNAMITE

Cracks on the lens now. Don't believe all these videos with BRAND NEW lights. Not as easy as it looks......

Patience. Slow down. Get them good and hot. They should be hot enough that you need leather gloves to handle them. That's when they become most workable.

I had no problems baking headlights on any of the cars I've done it to.

Not only did I bake mine to put in different color halos, I baked one again after the lens shattered in an accident and transferred a different lens onto it. So I cracked open 3 headlights 4 times, one of which was one I sealed(and sealed it generously at that) and had no issues with any of them.

Ok. At what temps and how long did you guys bake them? I have seen anywhere from 200* for 10 minutes to 220* for 12 minutes. I tried both methods and they are no where near coming off. I don't want to ruin them, so a little more info would be appreciated

If I ever do get them open.... Do I want to use the stock diffuser?

I baked mine at 250 for 10-15 minutes. Took all the bulbs out, put it on a towel on a cookie sheet. Came right apart.

250* for 15 minutes......done. Still not soft enough.......

Back in they go. I don't give a fu2k at this point if I melt them. They are coming apart like it or not!!!

I have literally tore my lights up and they aren't coming apart still. 25-30 minutes now at 250*. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
