Did anyone care to show that the camaro runs the quarter in 13.0 at 111mph compared to the duramax 103? I love those trucks, they're extremely bad ass, but as they two cars crossed the quarter mile mark, the camaro would be passing as if it were standing still.
not to mention, hot rods need to handle a bit, too. |

Here ya go
All this can be done for less then 10k. The truck is almost 3k heavier then the Camaro. Yes it's a truck and handles like such, lets see the Camaro tow 20k if your playing the handling card.

But in the end it is a truck. It just doesn't have the aura
that the Camaro exudes. |

I have a friend who owns one. Sure its fast, but if you think the challenger is spoiled from weight then imagine a car with 3,000lbs more. You don't feel any faster than riding a donkey.

I'll give you that, but just make sure your ducks are in a row or that plan Jane truck will spank you. Then the aura is little less bright.

Wrong lol. My brother has a decently modded duramax... It feels very much faster than my camaro. Mostly because it has so much torque, and that is what you feel.

Yea im gonna disagree, My friend's puts down 950+wlbft and it doesn't feel any faster than his dad's M5. In fact it feels a good deal slower.

That's a bummer I guess it's all in the numbers. I for one own a 2ss and 67 Nova with 4:10 420hp with 400 TQ, and 04 Duramax. The Nova will kill the Camaro in a straight line, The Camaro will kill the Nova in the corners, and the Duramax will tow them both.

To each his own I guess lol. I have no idea what my brother puts down to the wheels right off the top of my head, but I'll let you know tomorrow.
