XM can kiss my ! Those idiots charged me for two months of service after I had called to cancel my account at the end of my contract date! What a bunch of jokers!! I'll never be getting XM again! I wonder if I can even sell my trial back to the dealership or just never connect it!!

Im pretty sure the trial for XM is only 3 months unless you have a 2LT or SS. Then it is supposed to be 12 months. I'm wondering if they don't have the ZL1 set up right in their system yet. I know it is 6 months for Onstar. I'm going to miss XM compared to my local commercial-ridden stations, but I can't justify paying for it.

XM has told me it's three months. All the literature I have says 12 months. My dealer tells me it's 12 months on the ZL1. Dealer tells me he will call XM and make sure I get the full 12 months.

How much is XM radio a year? I'm thinking it could be handy on long road trips where there's little if any good radio stations. But if it's to much just bring plenty of my own music for the trip. I thought I heard the ZL1's no longer support cd's?

xm cancelled my subscription and now i'm fighting with them. I called chevy customer service and they are saying its only 3 months too even though they are advertising 12. I've already wasted a half hour of life arguing...

grimmace since you have tried your dealer,xm and chevy customer service maybe the cutomer rep that post alot in the Camaro Issues / Problems | Warranty Discussions | TSB and Recalls section of the forums can help. Also read the escalation sticky at the top of the page.
The last time I spoke to a xm customer rep I was assured they were not disputing my free 12 months,it seems to be a computer glitch on their end that gives the standard 3 month trail. The rep stated many times the 12 months free was not being disputed but the abilty to change it quickly seemed to be the bottle neck and had to go thru an escalation procedure. Good luck seems w/xm you need it.

I liked it on the long trips. But I live in a heavily wooded area where it is pretty much useless. I listen to local radio stations and when commercials are on, I switch to my Ipod.

I just spoke to my dealer as my trial ends on the 15th. According to Sirisxm the dealer is responsible for how long the initial trial is set up for. The sales manager said he would log in and correct the term. If you experience this problem, you should call the dealer, not Siriusxm. I guess it's not easy for some dealers to remember that some Camaros have a 12 month trial and others only get 3.

My dealer just called me back and he said that GM global connects only shows a 3 month trial subscription to XM on my ZL1. I told him the window sticker says 12. He said he's not aware of any Chevrolet that has a longer term. He did say they would honor the sticker but they would have to pay for it after they contacted Sirius.

Corvette GS got one year last year as well. Once it OS actually over you can let them cancel you're service they'll call you again in a month and try to get you back. If you tell them it's to expensive they will eventually offer you 4.99 a month. I've done that on the g8 since 09!
