Looking for Borla S-Type axle-back - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys,

I've been searching the "for sale" section of this forum but can't seem to find anyone that wants to sell their Borla S-Type axle back exhaust. I have the Atak system now and looking to either trade or buy an S-Type system. I just installed LT headers and high-flow cats and I think this will be the right set up for me? I'd rather not have to buy a brand new S-type system and have to sell mine at a discount.

Any words of wisdom. Thanks!

I already have the Atak. I did love it "before" I installed my LT headers. It's a little loud now. I'm hoping the S-type will mellow it out a little while still making it sound mean. That's the million dollar question.

I have a brand new in the box GM 92206992 axle back kit in the box. Lists for $960 will sell for $550 shipped to lower 48. Nice stuff! Let me know if anyone's interested.

I have a set of the GMPP axlebacks (Borla S like the ones pictured above) but the tips are missing. They came off a GFX car.

PM me if interested, I'll give ya a heck of a deal on em.

I originally installed Borla S Type axle back on my SS last month. I liked it but i wanted more sound so I went for the CAI and Borla X-Pipe extra 600 bucks and installed it today and it sounds sweet. I dont want to void my warranty with headers so Im going for the solo high flow cats next paycheck June 1. LOL does it ever end? Anyway when they are installed and if i still want more sound and you are interested maybe we can swap.

DIDN'T WANT YOUR GM EXHAUST. Was interested in trading my Borla S for the Borla Atak.
