Road Runner DNS error - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I had to call RR and have them fix Camaro5 in DNS. Just an FYI.

They use a redirector nowdays. Hard to explain (they try to make money off typo's and web searches).

so THAT is what the issue was! Dude! It went down last night and I still couldnlt get on this morning. everything else was fine but the site. I even called RR too! They refused to say it was them saying C5 was down. Tran assured me it was fine. D@mnit!! that just pisses me off.....

It might of been just the Texas DNS but it was timing out with no answer for this domain.

I looked at the other Camaro forums and no one was freaking out over this being down. So I deducted it was a Road Runner issue. They said other customers had complained. I said well elevate it to your DNS people to fix it and he said ok give 2 hrs.

It's true. I am addicted to 5th gen Camaros.. I found out when the site when down.

It was almost like someone haxxored the entry but I think the site is getting so much traffic it's starting to get peoples $$$ attention to get in on the gravy.

Glad I was able to help a tad it's the best forum around at the moment.
