It actually costs a lot more to add the RS package after the fact, so it is really worth a bit more than $1350 for negotiations.

Yeah - and I'd subtract at least another $650 just because they are either trying to cheat someone or are too damn stupid to know what they have.

However, if you want the RS package, just tell the dealer they are full of shit (and why) and continue your search. DON'T SETTLE!

If the dealer is willing to lie that you are looking at a Camaro RS. What else are they not telling the truth about. If a sales persons lips are moving beware.

You can always check the RPO codes in the trunk, look for WRS.

Alright thanks. They've been advertising it as an RS and it's currently sitting at my local Chevy dealer. I'll let them know and get it knocked down in value. It was just very confusing that they told me it was but I thought it wasn't so I had to check incase it was different in 2012 or something. Most of my research has been on the 2013's.
