What is the dealer doing? I had the same oil leak look to my oil cooler but when I too it to the dealer they said it's dried oil and not currently leaking. So, I'm just keeping an eye on it at this point.

Are they changing out your whole oil cooler or just replacing the gaskets?

Starting with the gaskets. I'll know more closer to lunch.

I hate just dropping my car off at places. Last time I had it in (different dealer) they put close to 15 miles on it. There reasoning was they had to make sure it didn't over heat. ugh.

I hope your employer is sympathetic to your stress. I'd be a basket case.

Maybe by realizing that it is just a car? It's not like your kid is having major surgery or something. I'm pretty sure it will be ok.

It is just a car, but I can feel the OP..

you spend your hard earned money to buy and mod, and then leave it in the hands of a stranger that has no concern for your property and could give a rats ass if he scratches it, dents it, or wrecks it because it's "just a job" to him..

Keep us up to date. I'm curious on how yours comes out because I might have to do mine as well.

If it ends up being gaskets....then I might do it myself. I cringe thinking about leaving my car at the dealer.
