I would be perfectly happy if you would just ship me the clutch and driveshaft. That's all I wanted from the beginning.

I just can't see a reason why I should be caught in your issues with Paypal. If you don't want to give them whatever info they want to unlock your account then that is certainly your choice to make but I shouldn't be hanging out in the wind because of it. The money is still in your account and not mine.

Have you had any contact from Camper regarding the parts you paid for?

True, it's not a problem on your end, he is the one with problems and is trying to drag you into it. He needs to go ahead and either send you the parts or the money, it's not your fault he has problems.

I am not defending anyone but Paypal can be the closest thing to the Gustapo what we will ever see, they can hold someones money for up to 180 days now and if they decide to they can keep the money.

If I was this seller I would use Google Checkout. No hassles with those guys at all and works same as paypal...

I've completed hundreds of transactions through PayPal in the last 10 years and never had one problem with transactions, getting refunds or disputes settled with them.

He and I have exchanged both emails and PM's trying to get this worked out. I still have hope that we can.

I'm gonna say it again. The goal of this thread is to get this transaction sorted out.

NOT to thread crap.

let's give it a chance to work out.

I have actually been banned from Paypal... for a misunderstanding when we tried to do an online raffle for the first Camaro fest.... they consider that online gambling....

and they kept a few hundred dollars that I to this day, almost 5 years later, cant get...

Not to pick sides but I've never had single complaint against me or any problems save that one issue and I can never use any of my accounts on paypal again...

FWIW.

Yeah I would have to say that Camper is definitely a scammer. I purchased the supercharger from him on June 26. Still have not received it. At first he would respond saying he is shipping it next week. Then telling me that he shipped it and should be here soon. That was over two weeks ago, now he wont even answer my calls or texts.

Did any of you guys pay with paypal using a credit card? if so contact your credit card company asap. you have longer timeframe to dispute with your credit card company than paypal
