And people are getting too worked up over the price of the Z/28, yeah it'll be priced competitivly with the GT500 as well as the performance will compete, thats into base Corvette range but still Corvette people will buy Corvettes just to have a Vette and Camaro guys will buy Z/28s just to have a Camaro...plus dont worry, the Z/28 will get a lot of attention but just as Dodge with the R/T and SRT Challenger, the SS will continue to be the real workhorse of the Camaro hierarchy
supercharging and turboing where made for muscle cars..lol

I guess my GTO, funny cars, Buggati Veyrons(sp), Ford GT's, Corvettes, semi trucks(turbo diesels) and Euro cars are all ricers. I know its your opinion but you know better than that man.

Just different ways to get to the same result. Wicked Fast power producing beasts.

You could do that but how streetable will it be? For example my FI LS1 approx 550hp at the crank. If I would have done H/C/I to the same power level it would have been pretty choppy, would not pass smog, bad MPG(dont't care), I would have been stuck at the power level. With FI you don't have all that, you get large flat power curve, plus a smaller pulley, tune you get more power. But I understand that not everybody likes FI, and I know the reasons why(I used to be the same way) but to get to required power levels you need FI and or have more cubic inches like the LS7. I'm talking on a OEM level where you need to comply with NVH, emissions, and refinement.

See the ricer thing, especially on this forum has been blown completely out of control..i would love to bitch slap the guy that came up with that lame ass cut down..LOL..America had turbos, superchargers, stickers, huge spoilers generations ago when the majority of asians were still pulling buggys down the street or riding mopeds and scooters.until here recently like last 20-40 years there werent hardly any asian companies..so everything that is consider a "ricer" has already "been there done that " with american muscle..i tell everyone look at Joe Dirts car..LOL..it has a spoiler that is at least 8 feet off the trunk..LOL..and that car is real. no just some exaggerated movie prop.nascar and people imitating nascar and bumper stickers has been along this whole time and like he said above look at all the american vehicles with superchargers and turbos..when it comes to integration we pretty much keep the name of the product even though its foreign but supercharger and turbo dont sound anything asian to me. even lighting look at all the 70s and 60s vans from back in the day..they didnt have LEDs then but if they did i guarantee they would have put them all over the car, instead they used blacklights...so ricer to me would be saying hey your an asian trying to steal the american culture when it comes to cars, and that is silly considering im american.lol.

Pedders will take on race cars. Beating a race car will speak volumes and not offend or conflict with any of my customers. The magazine is good to go and all we need is a dry day for the scheduled track time.
I guess I'll have to slap you in your face with your own driving gloves, so to speak

There is nothing wrong with some friendly competition

So you would take a ricer over a ZR1?

I'm a straight up whore for horsepower. If a supercharger gets me there faster with better manners then I'm all for it. I love the sound of a big cam hitting but it gets rough as a daily driver. My G8 GXP is my daily driver and when I sell it to get the Z/28 the Z/28 will be my daily driver.
