Whipple sc for L99

I need some info before buying it:

I dont wanna modify engine internal parts, just drop it in.

Is it safe for engine and tranny?

I have a hypertech program installed and k&n CAI.

Tks

Yes easily. You'll need a custom tune.

If you put the stock intake back on and install the blower you can use the Whipple supplied tune. While its not the best tune for a max effort build, your cars parts will live a long and healthy life.

Yes. Unless you get a tuner kit. Then you buy injectors and tune separately.

Yes. A custom tune will net you more, but if your not looking for that, then just stick it on and enjoy.

Mmmmmm, not a good idea at all. I suppose with a real conservative tune, it would be ok (if you didn't beat it too hard)....but why bother? Be safe, run 91+ octane (93 if you can get it). If you spend the $$ on a sc, why cheap out on gas just to save $7 every time you fill up? And as far as I know 87 octane isn't recommended for the L99 when it's stock anyway...you're asking for problems if you don't run the correct fuel on the sc'd car.
