Hi! I ordered a Hot Wheels edition too. Mine says queued for production on the Chevy website. Do you know the date when you ordered yours? How do you know it's being built this week? I'm anxious to find out when mine will be built. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

all of my dealerships claim they can't order them until june/july? What gives? Can someone point me in the right direction with anything I can direct the dealer to?

Cawcolo, get the order number from the dealer. Ask him to get its status code and tpw... you can also post it in the top stickied thread here and Becky will look too.

Jonboy, your dealer is an idiot. Gm will be done making the hotwheels by then... only making limited numbers. RPO code is HWS.

I just got a call back from our sales guy. He said no hot wheels cars have been pulled for production yet. He also said they wouldn't get a workbench order number until the order was pulled. That doesn't sound right, but I certainly have no way of knowing any different.

Just put the order in for my Hot Wheels Camaro this week. Getting 1 of 32 allocated for Canada. Dealership put the build sheet together for me, and just waiting to hear when it is started to getting built.

Can not WAIT to get this car!

What is the best price I might be able to order one of these for? I'm looking for the least expensive model.

can someone give me or PM me an approximate dealers invoice cost for the Hot Wheels 2LT? I'm on a budget, but want to get this Hot Wheels version if possible.

I think that is going to be the route I take. I wanted to wait til next year and get that 2014 vette and but I plan on purchasing house. Then reality set it in hmmm house vette house vette lol. It's just not practical for me to get a vette right now, especially with my niece and nephew whom I get all the time wouldnt have room for both. Then the Hot Wheels package is 7 grand. 7 grand just for a color that eventually wont be exclusive and horrible wheels and awesome badges. If I cant find a low mileage ABM SS with a sunroof I may wait and see if they allocate that hot wheels blue for other models in 2014.

I wouldn't count on getting the hotwheels blue after 2013... other than having a car painted on your own.
