Idling today the car got a little warm for my liking. Was up to 223 before I snapped this photo.

I used to run a 160 stat... but I am going to try this at least till the summer.

Today I installed my CAI cai.

First off check out how clean the intake is. Been running a catch can since about mile 50.

The 2013 has a ground wire that is routed different than on my 2011. To use this cai it needs to be rerouted.

Plugged in the vapor tube. Just used a little tape to hold it in place. Will get heat shrink and make it more permanent.

The screws for the MAF sensor were very hard to get in. Took the opportunity to make sure that I had a strong sensor I do, not sure if this is still an issue. I now have a used strong MAF sensor PM me if ya want it cheep.

Finished product.

Also took the opportunity to install the MSD plug wires.

I am missing a rubber grommet so I have to wait to install the washer relocation kit.

Thanks, I've been eyeballing those and wasn't sure if they would fit. Obviously they do.

What plastidip color did you use for your bumper and tail light bezzels? Did you do any prep work on the tail light bezzels or did you just spray over the chrome paint?

Still shocked by your dyno results, that is nuts.

Thanks we should grab lunch or something soon... being neighbors almost. I need to pick your brain about detailing. I can cross the lake or vice versa. Also want to talk about NOLA.

I used the flat black and I wipe it down with a degreaser/ wax stripper and sprayed several coats. At some point all the plastidip will be paint. You and me both are shocked. Between the weight difference this car is about 300 or so pounds lighter than my modded vert was but has more quickness stock than the 420 to the ground vert!!

Hope to get headers on soon and have it dynoed again.

I got the CAI inc CAI as well, and it came with the heat shrink, so I just put it on and let it hang out, as I planned to get a heat gun later on, but I drove to Thibodaux for christmas, and the heat in the engine compartment was enough to heat shrink it for me haha.

So just put the heat shrink on there in the correct place and go driving around, itll shrink just right lol

Removed the hood wrap. Impossible to keep up with the spots and streaks. I will have it painted at some point.
