My 2010 Camaro owners manual has a section on a "park assist" with sonic beep and also memory for the drivers power seat and climate control........ whats that all about ??? Anyone ?

I heard that is suppose to be in effect in December as one of the new changes on the Camaro for 2010 Model year

2011 wont be out until September of 2010...

Car Model Years normally change to the next year as of October of current year

I already have park assist!

My girlfriend insists on getting out of the car when I'm parking just to tell me I'm still too far away from the curb.

She's louder than any ultrasonic sensor and just as annoying.

if his owners manual says it then obviously its not a 2011 and its a 2010 ... and what exactly does it say in the manual?

They can begin producing the next model year whenever they choose. There are a lot of reasons to cut one short or run one longer including CAFE type credits. If you look at the gto some of the trucks production of the next model year began in the summer.

Not technically. I believe each car model year must not pass through more than one January. Not sure if it HAS to pass through a January, however.
