TC coming on with new R888'r
So, i just had my new R888r's installed on the rear of my ride and i noticed in some turns on the freeway depending on speed my TC will start to kick in? This never happened with my michelin PSS? Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
Thanks for your help! |

is your rear tire size different than before? if you changed rear sizes and didnt change the fronts, it could be that the abs/tc is getting confused.

What size are the Toyo's? I don't see a 315/35/20 for the R888R. As mentioned, if the difference in diameter between the front and rear tires is too much the traction control can kick in because the computer thinks your tires are spinning relative to each other. People here have reported using 285/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear which is ~0.85" difference or so and haven't had issues.

Do you have any pictures of the car with the new tires on?
The only time I have heard of TC "issues" with new tires, is when there is a significant tire heigh difference between the rear and the front.

No pictures but you can defiantly tell a big difference in tire height compared to the Michelin's up front.. I just cant bare to throw away the hardly used Michelins 😥

This is the tire height for both, only a .4" difference front to back, are all tires properly inflated?
