Just a FYI- caliper brake bolts are supposed to be used once and replaced (but I've been guilty of using re-using them too ).

At least be sure to use some blue loctite and torque to 44lb/ft, then tighten it 1/4 turn more (90 degrees).

I have heard about this but never done it when I went to a CTS calipers, just cleaned them up and torqued down to 50 or 60 ftlbs. I think they are a grade 5

Yes, caliper to knuckle bolts are "torque to yield" bolts. IOW they stretch when used. Once stretched they can never be accurately "torqued" again and are at risk to break.

They cost $3.19 each at your local Chevy dealer and considering they hold the part that stops your 4,000lb car from occasionally outrageous speeds... you may want to replace them at your first opportunity.
