SS emblem on trunk

Hey guys I got a question. I'm having my trunk blacked out and I'm wandering if I have to bend the SS emblem (5" Trailblazer emblem) to have it put on? The emblem is flat and I think where the read bowtie was has an angle on the surface. Thanks guys.

I have the rear SS emblems bent to fit in the 5th gen font to match the fronts.

I may have to pick one of these up too, the one for the 06 trail blazer SS i have is flat and I'll have to bend it to go on the trunk where the bowtie was.

Back is flat. The emblem on the grill is the one with the angles...

The trunk panel is not flat. I'll post a pic later showing there is an angle where the emblem needs to bend. The pic will show the emblem resting on the angle.

I had to bend mine but it is very flexible and you only have to bend it slightly.

Here's mine, yes the emblem will bend enough to match the bend in the trunk and it covers up the holes.

Thanks guys. I'll try it out when my vinyl gets put on. Its been so windy here that I don't want dust to get under the vinyl as it is getting laid. Desert + wind = suck.

or Blow. which ever.
